Guests will enjoy exclusive attention from our dedicated and experienced U Dive team who ensure that special needs, requirements and diving goals are met. The Staff will plan boat dives to a variety of dive sites throughout the week stay without repetition unless the group desires a return visit to a favorite site. A dive orientation on U Dive’s diving procedures will be given at the start of your U Dive adventure. Guests will be briefed on how to sign-up for dives, daily procedures, shore diving, and safety plans. There will be a warm-up dive and equipment check prior to your first dive. You will also receive a guest profile via email prior to arriving at Utopia. This information will help the U Dive team prepare for your arrival.

Juan Carlos Molina
Utopia’s Manager of Dive Operations, Jaun Carlos Molina, is a native to Honduras born in the capital city of Tegucigalpa. He joined the Utopia U Dive team in July 2008 with his bright personality and disposition, as well as, his extensive knowledge of the local reefs. Juan began diving in 1994. His inquisitive and adventurous spirit led him to explore one of his countries most beautiful natural wonders, the Western Barrier Reef. After graduating from University, Juan decided to leave the stress of city life behind to become a full time Dive Instructor. Known only as “Ju-Ca” to his friends and fellow divers, his world is now filled with happy beautiful underwater colors, many new diver friends, lots of fish and bubbles and of course full of sun!
Juan Carlos and his team will plan a fun filled diving week for you exploring many of the over 90 buoyed dive sites around Utila and the Utopia House reef.
